Injectors for pneumatic conveying
Injectors for pneumatic conveying are the link between the fan and the feeding system, the point where the material (plastic granules or food pellets) begins its journey into the line.
By means of a conical structure that shrinks to exploit the Venturi effect, the injectors for pneumatic conveying
are able to generate the right delivery pressure; a vacuum is generated in the upper cavity, which draws in the product and thus supplies the stream for the flow.
Materials for injectors for pneumatic conveying
Injectors for pneumatic conveying in the MODULPIPE line are available in painted steel and in AISI 304 stainless steel for foodstuffs or wet materials.
Rotary valves
Rotary valves are a highly efficient alternative in all cases where a constant feed flow to the
pneumatic handling line is not possible.
Also available in painted steel and in AISI 304 stainless steel, LORANDI rotary valves
are custom-made items, tailored to the type of material and the specifications of the pneumatic conveying system, to guarantee high performance and long-lasting durability.
Rotary valve: operation
Consisting of a rotor with several pockets, rotary valves
allow pneumatic handling
line feeding even via 1000 kg Big Bags, with no risk of clogging of the underlying Venturi system.
Compared to normal injectors for pneumatic conveying, rotary valves
enable capacities of 4,000 kg/hour to be reached and exceeded, operating with optimum levels of efficiency even with vertical ranges of 7-8 metres.
